Hello,
Can any tell me, if I order a fuel pump kit, form iBoats, what is all included? Gaskets, seals, diaphram, screens. Since I have two pumps do I need two kits or will they send me a set of two. And one final question, how difficult are they to replace?

gaskets, seals, checkvalves,diaphram, all included.

you need to order 2 kits

not difficult if they send an instruction sheet, otherwise it would help to have a repair manual. Or buy the kits from Mercury, they have always included an instruction sheet when I bought them.

Looks like its the gaskets, diaphram and retainers. Doesn't look like the checkvalves are included; howeve, I could be wrong. You could call them to be sure - Iboats has real good customer service. Or you can go to crowleysmarine.com or boats.net, choose your motor and serial number and get everything individual (probably what I would do). Also looks like you would need to double up on everything if you have two, cause there's no mention of them being doubled up, but you can ask customer service that as well. As far as the install, I've never done a 150, but have rebuilt mine (1988, 85hp) a few times and its not that difficult at all. Good to have a manual as a guide cause there's tricks to some things like getting the diaphram to seat properly with the spring behind it could be tricky, but if you use a putty knife to hold it in place while putting it on the housing, it seats straight.

Make sure you get the kit with check valves. First kit I got from a dealership, no check valves. Second kit I got from iboats, had a choice of a kit with or w/o the valves. Glad I got the valves, they're a little different than my old ones and I think they'll seal better because of it.

Very helpful BTW. Next thing I order, if iboats has it, they'll get my business. (probably going to be a prop)
