replacing cams in mercontrol

does anyone have a video or a write up on how to change out the cam and lever gears in this thing? Ive never done it and dont want to mess anything up! thanks

Why do you need to change the cams? I ask because I have a Mercontrol that shifts fine, yet the first 1/2 of the throttle does nothing and full speed is 90 degrees plus. I'm wondering if there is a common problem based on your need to replace cams?

I don't get any throttle response tell my throttle is almost all the way forward. The guy at the boat shop told me they were worn down.
