Replacement long block - 3.0

I'm headed to look at a complete engine to replace the one damaged by salt water in my Maxum. The question is are there any years that may not be compatible with my 2008? I'm only planning on using the long block.

Ayuh,...... I believe it was '91 when the rear main seal changed,.....

So,..... You want newer than that,.....

It turns out that it was locked up anyway. Back to the search

for 3.0's, 1990 and older, or 1991 and newer are the two generations.
