The Sunbird that I just bought does not have a capacity plate, I live in IL, and will be using it on local lakes here, don't even know if it is a big deal that I don't have one, I know you are supposed to, but I can't even find where it used to be. If anyone has any answers please let me know. thank!!

Re: replacement capacity plate for corsica 175

On our Seacore we have 2 of them. My first post on here I was asking what model of boat I had and it was right in front of me the entire time. One is just to the left of the wheel on the center console and the other is on the starboard side in the stern on the inside of the transom.

The local law enforcement here in Washington state were doing inspections and we volunteered for one. They were not really ticketing anyone, I think it was more of an awareness campaign then anything.

But...

The first thing they checked was those plates. He said it was very odd to have 2 of them. Good thing we had them flares in the boat.. lol. Also a good thing he did not check the experimentation date :D
