Replaced fuel - Lower top speed

I replaced the fuel pump on my 1998 90 hp evinrude. It starts great, idles great and runs smooth. The problem is the top speed has droped from 44 mph to 35 mph. Any ideas?

clogged high speed jet in the carbs.

Yep, a carb service will certainly help.
