Repair scuffs without painting?

I've gotten this 30 year old hull to look pretty sharp considering it sat neglected for a couple years before I got it. As you can see below, the gel really shines, but it's got some scuffs and dings. They don't seem to be very deep (maybe 1/64" at the deepest), but I'm not sure how to clean them up or at least help reduce their appearance without getting into paint or gel coat or whatever. Is this a realistic possibility?

Ayuh,... You could sand 'em out, but I wouldn't, you'll be close to sanding Through the gel...
I'd just live with 'em...

I kind of figured. That one gouge on the starboard side is the deepest. The scuffs on the port side are extremely shallow (you can barely feel them). I'm afraid sanding will be hard to get right and mess up the nice shine I have going everywhere else.

Will a rubbing compound help? I'd be happy even just making them less noticeable even if I can't make them go away entirely.

Maybe some 1000 grit wetsand and hand buff with 2000. Might make you a little happier. She looks good.
