Removing Carpet Glue

We used purple power that you can buy at Walmart by the gallon. It in the automotive section and a wire brush that goes on a drill. Soak the area and let it sit for 10 minutes. Slow speed on the drill worked great. It comes up like clumpy snot. We just wiped the wire brush off every once and awhile. Works good it the glue was used on woven roving cloth cause of the indentions.

I just didn a tecarpet on my bass cat and some of the glue has come thru the carpet any ideas to get it out of the carpet?

Latex glue should clean up with water if wet or maybe mineral spirits if dry. Oil based glue should clean up with mineral spirits if still wet. If dry try acetone.
