I have to pull my motor because a starter bolt has sheared off in the block. Unfortunately this is the third time. In the past I have been able to get an EZout to get the broken bolt out drilling up with an air drill (they are small enough to get under the engine with). This time, i have TWO EZout shear off in the bolt!
My question is do i need to pull the outdrive in order to pull the motor?
Any information from those that have done it is greatly appreciated.
Is it as easy as disconnecting the fuel, water, and electrical systems and then unbolting? Can i then slide the motor foward?
Thanks
Tom
