What is the best thing to use to remove cured silicone caulk. My transom on my GT-150 was in bad shape and the previous owner used silicone caulk everwhere and I want to remove so I can fix it and finally paint with imron

I would start by cutting as much out as you can, then a wire brush, then sos pad, use a good solvent to remove all traces of the silicone, or your paint will not want to cover that area!

Welcome to iBoats!

Acetone, or Xylene. Wear a Respirator. Nasty stuff. Test first, Xylene might eat the Gelcoat if you leave on to long.
