i ass/u/me they are lock nuts with a nylon insert.Simple Q ...... assuming front prop (inner) is left hand threaded nut, and rear prop (outer) is right hand threaded nut.
As there is no locking tab washer or split pin .... what keeps the nut from working loose ? Particularly the rear (outer prop) nut.

so a little workbench ti e today and will have it complete.
The UK price for tool was $198.

Out of curiosity, is that an OEM manual?My Manual (4.3 280-C-N) states
45Nm for the rear prop at 100Nm for the front prop.

Are your drives the newer ones with the helical prop splines?Yes ….. It’s the official VP manuals that they provided links to based on my engine & drive serial number …provided when engine/drive were register.
