whats a good primer/paint to use on a boat trailer? im getting ready to redo my trailer.

I have used Rustolium in qt cans and have applied it with a small foam roller. Worked great for me on 2 different trailers.

Ayuh,.... Rustoleum,.... hands down the Best wagon paint...

does that rustoleum need to go onto a primed surface or is it straight to bare metal?

I've always used a primer first.

In past years I have used a non sandable rattle can primer, it wont allow rust to pop back through a freshly cleaned area, it may take me weeks to prep ever thing before I paint, and as close to the origonal paint color as I can find, and I add a bit of hardner from tractor supply to the rustoleum enamal paint.
