Redline 302 removal

I have a '96 19' Duckworth with a Redline 302 and an American Turbine Jet drive. I need to pull the motor to rebuild it. Any tricks or advice to disconnect the outdrive from the motor? TIA

Thank you. I left the driveshaft connected to the flywheel and let the slip yoke come apart. I hope that was OK.

you may want to mark the slip yoke so it goes back together in same place on the chance that it was balanced together like a driveshaft

Too late for that. Motor is out and at the machine shop.

Ayuh,..... There may be a blind spline for alignment,....
If not, slip it back together with the caps in-line, or at worse, 90* from in-line,....
If you don't, it'll vibrate, Badly,....
