i have a 2000 40 mercury 2 stroke when i push the primming blub it stays soft and the fuel is filling the bottom cyd when i take the plugs off it comes out the cyd when turnning it over i was thinking maybe reedvalves or float not sure thanks for any help

Well the gas is going someplace and I'd guess it's not being stopped by the float valve. There is a slight possibility it could be going through the diaphram of the fuel pump and into the crank case, but I would check the carb first.

the fuel come out the bottom cyd with plug off when turnning over
