I suggest that you look in to actual trailer bunk carpet. It’s made for the job, versus using boat carpet or indoor/outdoor carpet that is cut into strips. Boat carpet is made of taller fibers and trailer bunk carpet is more of a durable felt style material so it will last longer. The one at Boatcarpet.com has a special dura lock backing system so the fibers last longer and stand up to abrasion longer.
