You especially can't use a guide on 20 year old boats over, say, 16'--way too many variables are possible. At that age, where condition is everything, even length becomes irrelevant. It's why I can get a 28' boat for $1000, same as a 16' boat.

Location is everything. For a very limited example, here in the midwest (Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin) 1700 and 1800 Lund Pro Vs are going for 20 to 25% over NADA. This partly due to the fact that Lund doesn't make the 1700 and 1800 anymore. Anyway the demand appears to be there.

This is exactly what I'm finding on late-80s to late-90s bowriders (18-21 feet) here now. 10 to 20% above guide value. Pontoons seem to be even farther off, although there are fewer examples to work with.
