Having fished the “The Point” (light house) for the past 40+ years, you wouldn’t catch me surfing anywhere near there in a seal suit......lol

Shark heaven......hammerhead, bull, black tip, sand tigers.....caught them from the beach

I watch this guys video's regularly .. He is a local Hatteras guy Who has surfing and fishing sponsors .. You gotta see this one .. Right off the coast there .. I've seen plenty of reds back in the creeks but nothing like this ..LOL!

Nothing out of the ordinary.....they migrate in mass through the area each Spring and Fall like clock work.
Been making the pilgrimage Spring and Fall for years. Fish the Red Drum Tournament just about every year. Not uncommon to hear/see 150-200 fish per day landed when it's on.

Where is home?
The East Coast went to a slot (18-27") years ago. Since then the population of big Drum just exploded.

Hard to get past Citation size to catch a slot....lol
