I do have a boat problem. After sitting in that "Huge" hull I need to find a large boat.

I will be actively looking for a new project now. I just need to decide what to do with the Glastron. I am not sure I can part with her.

I just saw this guy posted it again on Craigs list, and says that it is in great condition. What a joke!!!! I just wish I could turn him in.
I see "counter-posts" on Craigslist every once in a while.

I'm just sayin'...

I thought about that, but I just don't know if I could bring myself to do it. Or could I?

You could just say something like, "better check out the stringers and motor mounts."

if it's really on consignment, he may be forced to sell at the price even he knows is too high.
Well, you know he's put a price on his reputation. No need to go back to him again.

Did you notice rips in his shirt on the shoulder, from the parrot?

Old inboard bow riders are a dime a dozen; I bet you'll find one in better condition, or for free.

I will just have to wait until the "true" owner drops his price. The reason I like this one so much is that the interior is on almost perfect shape. The engine has 350 hours on it and the engine bay is spotless. The guy just left it outside uncovered and it has rot. I can fix rot, but upolstry I cannot touch.

Ok perhaps that is where look at things differently. I have a boat upholstry shop and can rebuild a interior in under 2 weeks. Recoring my deck took three weeks and I traded with my dock neighbor his labor for new flybridge benches. We both came out ahead.

Yep, I found that too. I am not sure how accurate that is, and it does not include the trailer.

hey that guy is full of double talk. I read about the owner letting the canvis blow off in a downpour to explain away the water marks on the engine. who show many times that has happened. Why else would the motor mount be literal mush? It did not happen because of one rain storm. B:eek:e leary of the condition of the engine and stinger. He outright lied to you. what else is he lieing about. Pull the trigger on the counter reply on cl. or flag him as fragulant.

You can?t go wrong with Cobalt one of the top line boats on the market for years, if you want to get sticker shock price out a new Cobalt 22 and you?ll find $6,000 is worth it and the most important thing you said in one of your post is your wife likes it.
Go for it
