I would gladly send some of my rain. It hasn't stopped raining here in NL, Canada for about 2 weeks now!

We are getting some here also. One inch last night and been drizzling all day. Haven’t heard anyone around here complaining.

My only complaint was the wind last evening ... knocked down several trees and wires. One tree landed on the road in front of a car, leading to a fatal accident. It is cold and damp and wet ... I want snow, but at least there is moisture in the air and we shouldn't have to worry about wildfires today ...

People scouring the exposed lake bed here found a hand grenade took it home and I guess someone told them it was live. The bomb squad had to go out and dispose of it.

Getting a nice rain this morning possible 1”

We were able to refill about 60 million gallons with last weeks rain. Drop in the bucket compared to the 170 million missing. DEP also changed allocation guidelines based on gauge flow. If there's more water you're allowed less but if there's less you're allowed more. Make it make sense.

We're still about 3' lower than we should be. And that's saying something as normally NY isn't affected...at least not to this extent.

Makes me worried about spring time if we don't get some decent snow cover, which we're not. Haven't had to use the snow blower yet.

We're also pumped storage so we typically benefit more from the short shots we got. We pumped up about 300 million gallons.

We had a bit of a drought in the fall but it's been raining often now and we just got about an inch of snow which is unusual before Christmas here.
The water level issue is what is great about salt water, it just never happens here. We have deep water everywhere every year. 8 foot tidal swings but still deep water almost anywhere you want to go, just have to have a good depth finder and know your area. People on here think salt water is the death of boats but when it comes to this issue, I have never had a time when I couldn't use the boat because of a lack of water. You just have to know how to deal with corrosion lol. But if you do, even I/Os can be made to last.....
