I went to see the new Cars2 Movie. It was cute.

Yes, I know it's a childrens movie but, like Cars1, there are many subliminal/offhand messages, in that movie, that only CAR guys would pick up on. My wife was amazed at what I came out with. Whoever wrote the script KNOWS cars.

One of my favorites, regarding English cars.

1. "If there isn't any oil under it, there isn't any oil in it".

2. "It has it all; Wentworth fasteners and Lucas, all rolled into one" Regarding an early eighties Land Rover (3.5L V-8).

I suspect #1 applies to Harley's.

Ok, here we go! That should generate some comments.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE American. The movie was very pro-American.

If you LOVE cars, go see it.

I was thinking of Triumph cars. It didn't dawn on me to think of motorbikes. You are correct.

The English were going through some very troubling times, then, with their labor unions. I won't comment on who won. Contoversial.

Harley Davidsons (of old) didn't leak oil...they simply marked their spot.

I used to have Triumph TR-7. The electrical system was from Lucas (Prince of Darkness). The switches were all three position: Dim, Flicker, and Off.

Yes, but... In CARS, Lightning states that he'll be the first "rookie" to ever win the Piston Cup. Yet Doc Hudson is a 1953 Hudson Hornet and his first Piston Cup trophy on the garage says 1953 on it. So he was a rookie. Oops.

I've heard a lot of complaints about it but I thought it was a good movie, and it kept the kids quiet. I liked that oil line too.
