Quicksilver Alpha One Gen One

Something broke in my control box. It’s a quicksilver Alpha One Gen One. It’s on a 87 4.3 mercruiser. I can’t find a diagram on how to put it back together. Any help? I am in over my head with putting parts back together

A picture would help. What "broke"?

The controls aren't listed as an Alpha. They are the same for all models of sterndrives, Alpha (one and two), Bravo, etc. An 87 is pretty old and folks usually just update them instead of fixing them.

I have the manual in PDF for the MerControls (all models) and could possibly match it up from a picture, if you really want to fix it. I would post it, but it is too big for here.

I did decide to upgrade. I just wanted to try to get it back out on the water sooner rather than later. It’s been out of commission lots this summer. Did a tune up and repaired the impeller, fixed gas gauge and radio. Lol welcome to boats I guess.
