I'm in the process of restoring a 1995 Crownline 202br. The floor is finally finished and it's time to build the interior (everything was rotted out and needs re-doing). I'm trying to figure out how to finish the sidewalls before putting up new side panels.

I'd like to gather some suggestions on how to do this. I know the cheap and common option is carpeting, but I'm not sure how to measure/cut carpet to fit on a curved surface. I was kind of hoping for some kind of rubberized spray on textured thing but not sure if something like that exists.

So, everyone, any help/tips/advice/suggestions?

Lots of options... A lot of people do carpet, some people just paint it.. I did vinyl on mine and I like the look of it.

The vinyl looks slick. More than I'm looking to do though.

I'm temped to paint it with kiwigrip or even use a spray in bed liner. Probably a bad idea but really don't want to fiddle around with carpet

I gelcoated mine after toying with the idea of sea-deck

also toyed with Line-X XS-650 which would last forever

I would not use Kiwigrip or a DIY spray in bed liner.

The idea of line-x or nonskid sounds like a good idea cuz it will help hide some of the flaws in the laminate/glasswork... But personally, I would do something that is going to be easy to clean... Nonskid (especially kiwigrip) is a bear to clean...

I would stick with something smooth like either gelcoat/paint or a covering like vinyl, seadek, painted plywood, etc...
