While winterizing at the end of last year, I pulled the hoses that go from the flame arrestor to the rocker covers. I accidentally dropped one in the lake. No problem, I'll take this other one to the house so I can replace the one I lost. Now that spring is here, I can not find the one I brought to the house. I swear it had a PCV valve on it. Looking for replacements, I found my parts list and it says it is not a PCV valve, but a plastic elbow... but i swear it was a PCV valve! So after reading up on it, I have determined that some people use 2 PCV valves, some use one PCV valve and one breather elbow, and others use no PCV valve at all. I have a 1989 7.4L V8. Which setup is best for me?
