Putting cover on wet? Not really a choice.

I have mooring covers on both my boats but the winter covers are wet and the weather is not getting better. Can I put the full winter cover on them wet?

I was planning to put the winter covers on over top of the mooring cover for added protection.

Shouldn't hurt them. After all they get wet while they are on the boat. Not sure where you are but even if they freeze it isn't a real big deal. Lots of times I have put my covers on wet. I agree it would be better if they were dry but if ya can't then ya cant.

I'm not sure about leaving the mooring covers on. I considered the same but opted to leave mine off due to possible mildew due to poor air circulation combined with damp weather.
