It seems to me that if the guy could make this claim, he could prohibit anyone from even fishing offshore of his property. I think I would have told him to take a flyin' f*** at a rollin' donut.

Thats the kind of thing the "Projected Property Lines" here were designed to eliminate. Stops land owners from projecting their dock from their shore line into/across their neighbors lake front shore line.
