I have a 89’ four winns with a 5.7 omc cobra & cobra outdrive. The prop on the boat was a solas 2511-145-19. It has some nicks and small damages on it. I replaced the prop with a solas rubex 9553-141-19. This was recommended by a local boat mechanic. I got the prop on with hub kit rubex 101 and the bolt tightened, but the prop has some play in and out and also side to side (similar to a wheel bearing needing tightened). I feel it needs more. Thanks in advance for the input fellas

Do you have the correct thrust washer installed?

Prop torqued to specification?
Takes a bit of torque to properly seat the hub in the prop
