have a 2000 rinker 212 captiva 5.0 efi (trim tabless), the dream-o-meter shows 55mph, would love to only go 50 and get a little more pull for the 200+ slalom skier. this is the prop on the boat, what would be the prop that would fit my needs.

Drop to a 19 and you will get more out of the hole but don't over rev it at WOT. What RPM are you turning now at WOT ?

You might want to go to a 4 blade.

not sure, tach has started to act screwy. please be more specific, want to start looking on craigs list/ebay for a new/used prop asap. if i could lose 20lbs i am sure it wouldn't be a problem getting me up out of the water

as long as your currently running within recomended wot rpms look for a ss 19" pitch 4 blade with some cup, great hole shot, slower planing speeds, better fuel consumption and might not even lose any top end. all around better performance and even more noticeable with watersports. u would like to see about 4400- 4600 wot rpms
