Hi there - Not sure if this forum or Prop forum is best , but I'll start here . What is the recommended prop for an 18 ft 1972 Holiday I/O , 140 hp ? Old one ( which seemed to work well ) needs replacing but the number codes on it are worn/corroded off. Checking out the original manual online shows 6 possible props for a range of boat lenghts that fit the 18 ft Holiday. Thanks

Hey muskrat, I use a couple different Solas Rubex props from right here on Iboats on my 72 18 SS MC 120. A 15,3/10 X 21 for cruising and a
14 3/4 X 19 for tubing and horsing around. Both work well and give me a good speed vs rpm comprimize.

Thanks for the info dozerll . Looking at the manual it appears that your cruising prop is one of the choices for the 17' - 19' boat length for your engine .For my engine the manual lists 16'-18' ,17'-20' , and 18'-21' boat length choices . Based on your info I think the 17'-20' prop choices makes the most sense . That would be a 15.25 or 15 X 21" . Thanks again
