pre 1970 sterndrive parts

I have a 67-69 mercruiser sterndrive that i need some parts for does any one have a clue where i can get them at. If they are not available any more can i switch to a newer sterndrive?

It its a 60, 80, or 90hp sterndrive, all bets are off on finding parts. model & serial # would help

the main part that I am looking for is the reverse bearing carrier, broke it taking it out. the serial number is 2584058 not really sure what the model is but the engine has 120hp sticker on it
