Prayers needed ....

Was scheduled to leave tomorrow at noon for Ghana, but this evening I got word that one of my best life long friends and my right hand at Church, was killed in a traffic accident this afternoon. He was 42 and coming home from DC to his wife and 4 girls aged 3 - 11. Please pray for his family. They were a VERY close family and he did everything at full speed ... work, play, didn't matter. He was so full of life...

Thanks guys ... it means a lot. Apparently a tractor-trailer crossed the median on I-81 and hit him head-on. Just so sad. His oldest daughters are exaclty 6 months older and younger than my youngest (those 2 girls share the same birthday, 1 year apart).

So sorry to hear about this. This is the sort of thing that occasionally goes through my head as I commute over 400 miles a week on outdated, and congested roads. You just never know when you get behind the wheel if someone else's decisions or mistakes will cost you your precious life.

My thoughts and prayers are with all.
