Re: Prayers Needed for BiPolar Daughter

My wife is bi-polar, and I feel for you, it is so hard on the family to see a love suffer from this, Linda my wife is so bad she had to stop working and was able to get Social Security Disablity on the 1st try. Find the best pychocolgist for her, there are some newer drugs that will do wonders with walking around drugged up to the max. When Linda first was seen they put her on Zypexa,Lithium and Atavan it keep her calm but she slept 12-18 hours a day too much drugs and when they cut the doses back she had a "episode". Her first doctor moved to NYC and she got a new doctor well to make a long story short he put her on a new drug called Geodon and cut back the other 2 within a week there was a huge change she "leveled" out nicely, and is up doing things again and sleeping about 8-10 hours and NO MORE MOOD SWINGS.......My prayers are with you buddy.....Ted

My youngest sister is bipolar. Problem is she won't believe it. For the sanity of me and my own family, I had to break off all contact with her in the early 90's. My other sister and brother followed suit a few years later. Only my Mom and Dad have direct contact with her and it is killing them.

My prayers to out to you.

SoLittle; look at a web site truehope.com. The story is from the town I live in and a family with BiPolar. They found a solution. Won't go into there story as it's on the site. I do know several in this area who depend on it.

This is the start of there story -- under "About Us, TrueHope history.

My paryers and support to you anf family.

---------------------------------------
Ten children were left motherless the cold January day that Debbie took her own life. She had been suffering the pains of Bipolar Affective Disorder for years and finally succumbed to the dark and irrational side of the disease.

Howard, our prayers are with your family, and for a speedy recovery from your daughter's affliction.
And the fact that the family as a group is there for her is GOING to help too. I can only immagine her having to deal with that by herself!

Wow, look at the support we give one of our fellow boaters. Whether it's a tow, a bait or a prayer, the boating community never fails to help a fellow boater in need.

The Lord is powerful. He kept me alive for 2 years in the place Job was sent in the bible.

Amen.
