Bought a 140hp powerhead to replace my 140hp late 70's model straight six. well started to switch parts over and the ports for the fuel pumps were not drilled out so I figure it must be a newer model but can't figure out what year.the only numbers I can find on it are on the intake wich are 9737328

Take a look at the bottom of the blocks and see if the gaskets would be the same to bolt it to the exhaust housing.

The inline sixes had different fuel pumps, depending on year and serial group. I would think swapping the transfer covers over would solve that issue.

Fuel pumps normally run off brass fittings on the transfer covers. Another type has the fuel pumps mounted on the transfer covers.
