Power Trim

I have a 1988 Mercury Model 1060412BD 60hp. Motor will go up but not down.The switch was replaced with a toggle on the dash about 4years ago. Thank you guy's for any help.

Have you tried applying power to the Solenoid, or bypassing it?
Do you have a Wiring Diagram and/or Service Manual? If not, consider getting one
