Power tilt / trim 1990 Evinrude 50 HP

Hey guys, I am looking on Ebay for a power tilt / trim for my 1990 Evinrude 50 hp.

what years and what HP will work with my motor.

Based on the part number 0397532 [superceded by 0438135] ... looks like it works for 1989 thru 1996 - 40, 48 & 50 hp.

0438135 works for 1996 thru 2001 - 25, 35, 40 & 50 hp ...

Thanks for the help ! So looks like i cant use anything thats above a 50 hp

Just my luck all the ones on Ebay are above 50 hp

If you're not in a hurry, set up a "saved search" for one on eBay ... then wait for an e-mail telling you one's been listed. I waited almost 6 months for an electric start kit for my 1996 9.9 4-stroke ... and ended up buying a brand new one for only $175 (dealer list over $700)!
