power tilt 1997 CC 1870

I have a 1998 evinrude 115HP. Power tilt works but nothing on the gauge. I have replace the gauge but it didn't solve the problem. Does any one have any ideas.

Trim gauges are only for the trim range of about 15 degrees. They have to match the sender which is variable resistance. Try moving the sender as shown in yours manual.
