Hello.....I am new to this forum and to boating....all help is appreciated.....I have recently purchased a 17' Sea Pro Center Console with a 90hp Johnson VRO 2 stroke with the VRO disable and fuel has to be mixed. Both were manufactured in 1990.....The boat hadnt been ran in two years so I have replaced plugs, gearcase oil, and put premium fuel with a bottle of sea foam.....I have ran 14 gallons of fuel through it and have not had any problems....has started everytime and ran great....this past weekend I took it out and pulled my little cousin on a tube.......at WOT i lost power almost to idle speed.....i backed off the throttle for a couple of seconds then increased throttle........some of the power came back but not to full......made back to the sandbar and shut it off....could not get to start back up and had to be towed in....any idea????

check for spark. If it is good then you probably have crud in the carbs from sitting or it pulled some junk from the tank.
