Yes very good deal. It took me a couple of weeks to buy it due too the low price. Turns out the guy had to sell cause he had it at his parents house and the house was up for sale. He initially wanted $500 for it but after the two weeks he offered it at $300. I thought what the heck, I can get that much for it in parts. So, I bought it, and he even delivered it to the house. So far, very happy with it.

She's my first engine and boat, so I bought a manual and did all the work myself to learn as much as I could.
Mercury is such a great engine and so easy to work on. With the help of this forum, she's purring like a kitten!

my mariner 20, all I can afford right now but I've never had to pull her twice, always one pull start! great motor, i know its not a merc but close enuff!!
shes on a 14 ft shallow legend aluminum boat and with just me in it on gps it tops out around 35-36mph. not bad for a 20. thanks!

Here is my deal I got.... Its a 1988 18ft bass tracker with a 88 merc 150 black max. Got everything for $2500 and that included a stainless prop, aluminum prop, Jackplate 2 fish finders, boat covers, and some other things.

here's a pic of my infamous "9.8" merc I've been working on. It is finally a nice motor and will crank almost telepathically. It is also great on gas. As you might suspect, I like 'em a little smaller than most of you guys!

Scaaty--your "flatbottom" is gorgeous! That merc looks sharp but how 'bout a sticker? Is that in the works? Chinewalker--I liked your smaller merc pics.. do ya' ever run 'em? My favorite is the 20hp.
Roger?--your 115 for $300 is beautiful--heck, I woulda bought that and I don't even have a boat to put it on--would just sit and look at it, though and get $300 worth of fun!

Okay, here's my '86 Merc 75hp on my '69 MFG Edinboro. We just got new fabric for the bimini top and had to show it off. I got another better pic of the motor I'll get up later.
