There is, however, its on another site. I suppose I should build one on iboats, but its a lot of work!

However, both sites I used (iboats.com & the other) were critical resources, so both sites deserve credit for the assistance.

(And...I don't want to link to it as I'm assuming that is frowned upon, so trying to play nicely.)

Are my eyes deceiving me, or is that top on sideways?

Edit: Oops. Just realized the reflection on the underside. Really looked sideways for a minute. I love this picture though.

The 99 Marada 2102 CRS when I was picking her up with 103 hrs
Boat009-1.jpg

She already had Bennets, and the foil was gone as soon as I got home

Love the seating

After getting her home I found she was .5 inches too tall to go under the carport, so the tower had to go, along with the decals. Then she got buffed, polished and waxed. Probably paid too much for her but I fell in love with her on site. The 5.0 EFI with 103 hrs was hard to walk away from along with the Bennetts and the 5 blade stainless prop. Got all the tubing gear and ropes as well.

It is a Carrera, good eye :) '01 228 Twister . . hate that name . . . Sometimes I call it a T!tty Twister  I actually didn't like the look of this model over the years, and some angles I still don't, but I have learned to show her best angles in pictures. She has been perfect for us though. Biggest 22 footer ever. Longer hull than my friend's Chap 236 and many 25s don't have near as much room and she has a lot of stowage. The scarafice is in the bow area. The weird thing is that I have not seen another one since I got her in 2004. Maybe a few before that, but none since.

I've always loved Lavey's and I lust for the 24 NuEra.

Here's another favorite shot:

Carrera was just starting to get big on the deck boat thing back then and did not sale as many of the v style as they use to that I remember. But If you can get out to havasu you should see a few here and there on the busy days they have. But yours is varry nice and and your right on the room on the inside. And yes the 24 lavey is a fun smooth fast boat. I remember with a HP500 carbed in it I had it right at 82 MPH [speed o] on lake elsinore in the rain:eek: By the way that hurts but fun:).

We're on Havasu most of the time, last trip was the 4th there. I've never seen one, there, Parker, Mohave and Mead. Heck Powell too . . . and I can name every custom made in So Cal/AZ. BIL has a place in Havasu where I keep her most of the season. Nephew worked at Magic and now has his own shop etc. It's weird, still none on the water for me. I haven't even seen one on Craig's list. I don't know

Maybe I am thinking of some of the other styles they have with in that look. If you did not see your style at havasu then you must have one of a kind for sure.;):D :)Unsure and  myself:redface: I have not been to havasu in a good number of years, but in the 90s I use to help [HB] out with the regattas and we did Carreras also.

It is real nice, our temps don't get real bad here but still cold enough to not want to ride in the wind. When the sun is shining it gets real warm inside, even on cloudy days it is still very comfortably to ride in. Had to have it custom made, no factory enclosure available for the bimini. Both pics with it on the boat are in the winter.

@WTRFUN: I have the same tube. How do you attach it when not dragging people on it? I'd like to do something similar with mine.

I just run a strap through the tow buckle on the tube and attach it to the handle on my dog house. Just make sure you dont leave too much tube in the water, because it does create some drag. :D

Yes, I've tried with those super-small sections of ski rope just to drag it right behind, but it doesn't work well.

I don't have a dog house. I have a rear sun platform designed to make the engine maintenance free (at least, that's one way of looking at it...) But I think I can figure something. Thanks!
