Thanks man. That was my project for 21 years. I just sold her this past spring. She went to a collector of sorts. I miss it for sure. It was either the boat or the jeep. I kept the boat.

A friend of mine in high school redid a Golden Hawk (rarer than the Golden Eagles) and really did it up right. Always wanted one ever since. I'd love to get one some day that someone already put a fiberglass body on. I'd like to find one of those "have over $15k invested sacrificing for $5k" kinda deals

My first boat ever just this year (was a nice Father's day present). 2007 FW 180 Horizon, 4.3L Merc. Had to get something to tow it with as well, 2011 Xterra Pro-4X. Wifey drives the Xterra though

Nice looking machine you have there lil buggy, kind of reminds me of my '89 Doral which was removed from the water for the season just today In the pic below is the Doral anchored with a Rinker 250, a 1993 I think. They'll be spending the winter together also

I can only have one boat to use in the lakes, river and ocean, and this is the best compromise. I love it!
