What model is this...just bought it and i know its a '67. Its a 16 ft aluminum boat but not sure the model. Maybe a jupiter or nassau? Please help!

By the color of your little tinny I would say that it's a Nassau if you have the year correct the Jupiter was a beige color.

But the deck of it is all brown like the jupiter says...i dont see any green at all. Maybe the beige is just faded a little?

Yeah I don't see green either, I guess what I meant to say is it looks like a Nassau but unless you got the year wrong the color isn't right. If the interior color matches then it could be a Jupiter, they are so similar it's difficult to tell from the brochures.

Is that really the only way to tell is to look at the brochure from '67? I know the serial numbers were a little different back than but cant that tell me anything? Or how do i find out what parts to get for my boat? Starcraft is hard to contact

StarCraft is impossible to contact, and if you do the company has changed ownership so many times since your boat was built the new owners have no info on it. The brochures are your best bet.

Hi! New to this forum and new to boating! This spring I purchased a 1984 Starcraft 160SS and have just had it in the water for a few days. Looking forward to enjoying it this summer on our new lake property in New Hampshire.

Nice looking SS. They make pretty good all around boats. We use our 81 SS160 for fishing and cruising.

Dave, I see you live in Elizabethton, TN. I met my wife at Milligan College in 1976. We used to take my '66 Honda CB160 for rides around lake Watagua. Fun times! Every time a pass through the area, I always stock up on Dr. Enuf! Could use a few coolers full of it for the summer.

Last evening before putting my '84 SS160 to bed for the evening, this was the view from our dock here in the mountains of New Hampshire.

We are still working like crazy painting and repairing the cottage so we can live there for the rest of the summer, so it has not seen too much action yet. However I do enjoy my rides in this beauty as a break from all the work. I'm so glad I went vintage and aluminum, instead of something new or for a pontoon (which we seriously considered).
