To bond stringers to the hull, I’m thinking of using polyester resin PB. Would I need a wax additive to have the poly PB fully cure? I understand the wax is needed in a final layer of poly layup, but not sure how that applies to poly PB. TIA

no, you do not want wax. it fill fully cure the moment you put the tabbing on after.

Wax is only for the top layer of fiberglassing (or gelcoat)

Thanks. So, for example, if I use poly-based PB to glue the floor to the stringers, it'll still fully cure?

As Scott said, it will fully cure. It does remain a little tacky for some time but honestly that’s a benefit when your doing multiple layups. Tacky does not mean it’s not cured, it just won’t have a smooth satin like feel for a bit. Only use surfacing wax when making faring compounds or in the final coat of gelcoat. You really don’t need it for anything else.
