Points/condenser conversion kit

I'm working a 1960 Evinrude 10hp Sportwin and in the process of replacing my coils , points, condensers.
My question at this time if there is an conversion kit for my model can anyone please send me a part(s) numbers for both ways to go using standard approach or a conversion kit method. Thank You

properly installed and maintained points coils condensers work for years !

I have to agree.
And if a problem does come up you still have a good chance of getting home with a minor adjustment. When electronics gadgets go there gone.

Nova will work only for a short time on an OMC coil. The voltage spike from the mag is too much for them causing failure. There was an older ignition module that was specifically for outboards but they were discontinued

Facts----The Magneto on a 1960 model 10 HP is ultra simple / reliable / easy and economical to maintain.-----Why it even has a hole in the flywheel that allows you to clean and set the breaker points without removing the flywheel.----Gives you a warning via a sore shoulder when it needs attention.----Very few sudden failures on that magneto.-----It is also a dual system and will get you back to the dock on 1 cylinder !!

Put that new fuel pump 388685 on, runs like a champ..my new points/condensers came today...haven't installed the ignition kit
