Was wanting some input on a good set of plug wires for my Mercrusier 454 thunderbolt ignition/carb. Should they be marine plugs? Brands and part numbers would be helpful.
Thanks for your input!

I am a fan of the OEM Mercruiser wires. The main reason being, they are a perfect fit for your engine. Some think they are expensive, but over the lifetime of the wire set it is about the cost of 1 gal of gas per year. The wires on a Mercruiser need to be longer than a car/truck to get around the manifolds so you can't just get a set for an equivalent vehicle. They don't need to be marine but they have to be long enough.
