PLEASE HELP

I just got my first MERCURY it is a 1991 XR4 150 HP trying to change lower unit oil, Can someone please tell me how? There are no drain or fill plugs on it. THANK YOU

Well----Look again for the fill and drain plugs.-----When filling the gearcase you fill from the bottom till oil comes out the top ( vent ) screw.-----Then again it might be best to have your dealer do this.---And install a new water pump impeller too.-----So easy to make expensive mistakes on this job.

Hi. The drain plug is on the forward lower end of the torpedo shaped bearing carrier part of the gear case. The vent fill plug is up higher almost in line with the cav plate. Both port side of the engine I’m sure.
