Pizza Frenzy

A week ago the Cleveland Cavaliers played in Washington. Apparently some fans from PaPa Johns wore some T shirts with "Cry Baby 23" on them. This got Labron James upset. So, to make up for the bad stunt, Papa Johns offered 23 cent 1 large 1 item pizza. At all the Papa Johns today, traffic was horrible. Lines were very long and has been like this all day. Police have been busy with traffic and keeping peace with some of the unrulies.

I don't think that Papa Johns knew what they were getting into. I wonder how much money they lost and how many employees quit? The news said the stores have been averaging about 200 pizzas an hour. That is a lot of pizza.

Wife and I got pizza from Pizza Hut,,,,,,they weren't so busy

news around here was saying a 2 hr wait +, people standing a couple blocks away to get a cheap pizza in cleveland.

I like pizza, but not that darn much.

Whatever they spent, they could not have gotten as much air time and word of mouth advertising for ten times the cost. Pretty smart guy, that Papa John.

Yup, I totally agree. Pizza's only cost about $2 to make, but the advertizing they got for what they "lost" was worth millions.

My town is about 60 miles away from Cleveland and they did it to. The lines looked like the ones for Hanna Montana's concert or for when a new coaster opens at Cedar Point. Just unreal to say the least. My time is worth more than 23 cents to stand in line for that long.
