Pittsburgh Prediction

[Bigprairie1]

Ok, its 4:09 pst and there is an all important game on tonight between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Philadelphia Flyers.
I'm going with the Penguins!! ...the Flyers seem to have lost their way and are playing like a beaten team.
Score prediction.....lets say 5-2 Penguins with their last 2 goals in the last 10 minutes of play....I don't think it will get to an 'empty net' situation.
Ok, any others wanting to make a call on the game?
hopefully it will be a good hockey game.

Re: Pittsburgh Prediction

I am thinking that the Pens will come out playing a bit flat and will falll behind 3-0 in the first period. They will pick up the intensity in the second, but it will be a scoreless second period. The third will be interesting. I am thinking that the Pens won't get their heart totally in the game and it will end 3-2 Flyers.

This will be good for the Pens - don't want a long layoff and be flat for the finals!

(Okay, I confess, it is the currently the second period intermission and I just got home and caught the score ...)

Re: Pittsburgh Prediction

Well, I was close ... Philly got an empty net goal, other than that, it was a close prediction!

Re: Pittsburgh Prediction

....well I missed the call on that game. However, good on the Flyers for finding their game and fighting back albeit a little late. The bad news is that I missed all but the first 5 minutes of the game due to a dinner appointment so I had to rush in and check TSN to see the results.
Anywhoooo, the portion I did see looked like it was a going to be a high tempo game...sorry to have missed it.
The good news is....well, hay...one more game in the series!! bring it on.
