picture on threads. May or maynot be there?

Anyone else having problems with these. Sometime they show and sometime they go away or won't show at all? All my computer settings are still tha same. Haven't changed anything. Only happening on this site........Even ones that I put up were fine one day then nothing but tha "X" tha next day. This is just in tha last few days.

Also, no longer receive any notifications of any kind and thread is not identified as being followed on a particular forum......

Now its not showing but if I go to "edit" it shows up in tha text? Go to save changes and it goes away when tha post shows up WTH?

Post pix using Photobucket & the IMG code and you should be able to post pix:

I hear that using the camera icon on the top left corner of a reply window works as well.

Hopefully the rapid improvement of the forum software's operation over the last few days will continue. Until the software performs as intended, there will be lots of little problems, pix attachments is one, and hopefully previously attached pix (from anytime prior to May15, 2014+/-) will show up again.

Photobucket's IMG code is my preferred method for pix anyway, because the pix are IN your post rather then attachments that must be opened

I was having all kinds of trouble with it on my machine. I goofed around with it all in this thread (http://forums.iboats.com/forum/other/dockside-chat/7624883-anybody-tried-this-grease-out). Ultimately, I went with Photobucket (had never done that before).

Its not because of where my pics are coming from. I put up a pic that was fine. Two days later it was an X. Not just my pictures either. On one thread I see pictures posted by others and pictures posted by someone different is tha X or "attachment". I click on attachment and get a blank screen that shows ta be loaded! Think ya got some bugs ta work out. This is tha "ONLY" site of many I get on that I'm having issues with, Also getting weird messages popping up when ya hit post ...........Never had these things here before.

When posting pix use the camera icon. We're having issues with the Attachment icon. I'm sure you're only having problems with this site, we're going thru an upgrade. That's why you're seeing error messages too. Been away from the site for awhile?

I tried posting Pix last night just to experiment, every which way but Sunday! Some were off my puter using the attachment, some were from my puter using the camera, and a couple were from my photobucket account. No matter what, some were visible to me only, some weren't,,, but from the members response, none were visible Atall! What's up with that?

I was going to try the Camera icon, but I'm getting sizing errors that I didn't have before aand I'm not motivated to resize at the moment.....

What you're showing on my screen is a hyperlink.

In PB there is an icon when you're viewing the image up to the left that looks like a chain link. Click on that and a dialogue should come up and the bottom option is a click to get a forum link copied. Just paste that into your post and the image should show up.

In your PB link up there look to the right under "Links To Share This Photo", click on the code in the IMG box, It will say copied, than paste into the post oe reply box here. The result:
