RBH, thanks for the pics. I drive across that bridge every year heading to Redstone for bear camp. The area is beautiful. I'll be heading up there in just about 30 days

The microwave shot comes off the redstone tower, its about 60 miles due south of there.
what the heck, thats a long ways to go for a bear!!!

haha, I drive my F 350 all the way from Virginia. And we hunt right at Puntzi Lake or Chilanko Forks with Al Tew.

I love the place. Hot days and cold nights. Not many people and my cell phone won't work. I put 168 miles on my atv up there last year and had a blast. This will be my third year coming up.

I also really like the Okanoggan(sp) area. Beautiful!

Hey there NB and PJ, I believe I drank with that person one night out at chimney lake or it could have been one of the 2x dozen bars in town, or I could have had to go and fix his phone line, THE 90 WAS a BLURR
As I said my cousin guides fish and big game out of Bella Colla and has been out there since the sixtys.
NB are you coming up the Trans Canada HWY from Calgary or north from Seatle????
give me a shout if you need a bed and a meal (we are in Salmon Arm), me and the wife always like some company (bring crab ) HAHAHA

Folks should really think twice before giving out their place of employment. Lots of nut cases on the internet, and yes, right here at iboats too. So you don't want some miffed member or mod being able to come after you at your place of work if they were so inclined to do so.

Just something to think about.

RBH. Thanks for the offer. We stay in Coleville, WA just north of Spokane the last night and then cross over at Oriville into BC and arrive at WL that evening.

I am part time self employed and I work part time as an office assitant for a well known chain of oilfield supply stores.

The recent tornadoes never hit our small town, but strong heavy winds followed the tornadoes to cause damage to our office. Our office was one of just a few places to receive damage.

Had to move to another location till the roof and offices are fixed.

To the comments about if you can afford boating you can afford to get a fly as a Private Pilot. I having trouble swallowing that statement.

I have a Private Pilots License. Average Plane Rental $110 per hour at my location. I can boat all day on $20 in my bow rider. I have a few Airline Pilots buddies and they lost the passion to fly when it became a full time job.

your argument above says nothing about it being illegal only that confrontation is started by security officers who fear photography.

The really pertinent quote is "no articulated reason"....and there hasn't been any "articulated reason" despite the number of posts to this "thread-within-a-thread".
The author of that external link, Bert Krages, is a recognised authority and internationally known in this area of photography and copyright law.

The "I work there so I know, don't try it or you'll be sorry" argument just does not represent a very strong case in the absence of supporting law.

I am a real estate investor concentrating on buying REO properties in Baltimore, so I guess this is my office.

I also volunteer at my wife' consignment shop, it helps her and offers me the flexibility when I need to run to Baltimore, or re offices, or attorneys, etc.
Here I am "working" in the shop.
