No, I've got the lowest head. The little guys are mine as well as the one in the white shirt. Blue shirt and leather jacket are my brothers. Dark beard is BIL and light beard is my Stepfather.

That shot has a fill flash but the sky is real. I may have played a little with the reds, but not much. Beautiful day.

I took this one in October while fishing...

This is my favorite so far(below). took it on the same day as the one above. Neither are great, the first one I took only because the sunrise looked like a fire

Nice shots, .Pony. The one with dock is very moody.

Quiet, did you feel a little intimidated below the damn? I keep imagining an earthquake and a big crack!

Re: Photography

I'm pretty much a hack when it comes to photography, but I do love digital. No worries about wasted film on bad shots or settings.

RF, your pics are great. Nice composition.

I've posted these here before, but here are a couple of albums of pics I took while on vacation in Moab, Utah this summer.

Album 1

Album 2

Sorry some of the pics are different sized. My picture host changed some servers around recently, and a lot of my pics got resized. I had them all so the zoomed image was the full raw file. I haven't taken the time to sort and resize them.

EDIT:
Here's one of my favorites, for subject matter, anyway. I'm actually a little embarrassed to say my wife took it. She's usually pretty unskilled in the photography department.
Yeah, it is an odd feeling, but one of my absolute favorite trips. We go there from the next dam below 70 miles each way . . . cool ride. If you ever have a chance to even drive over Hoover, you have to do it . . . ;)

Wish I could say that I took this one, but I pulled it off the web. I am bascially a Meadaholic.

Not directed at you Spud, we've all learned the rule of thirds, and the rule of 16 ...

Edward Weston is one of my favorite photographers. He said something to the effect that composition can’t be taught, either you have it or you don’t, but those without a clue about composition will analyze great works trying to create rules they can use to make their own great works, but they will fail trying.

Sanger, I love your classic Moab shots. Especially the arch.

QC, that looks like a heck of a fireworks show.

Z, your front end looks pretty sad.... Nice capture of Mt Hood.
