Perfect Pass Restarting

I have a 2004 Tige 20v Switch and I just installed Perfect Pass. It is working fine except that it restarts when I change gears from forward to reverse or reverse to forward, not every time, but sometimes, seems to happen more if I shift a bit more aggressively. Has anyone else had this happen before and know what the problem is and how to fix it? I have it wired to the ignition switch. I thought about putting a capacitor on the Perfect Pass to even out the voltage.
