Perco bat switch problem

I have had random no crank issues on my 233 merc cruiser the last couple of years. It is so random that it has been hard to figure out. I went through last summer with it only happening twice. In getting ready to launch I wanted to make sure it would turn over. It would only do it on 2. Nothing on 1 or all. Both batteries are fully charged. Should I just replace that bat switch? It is 23 years old.
Thanks,
Brian in Mi

How are the battery cables and the switch contacts? Measure the voltage on the starter with the switch in the #1 position.

Doubt it's the switch. The one in my boat is almost 40

Most likely it's bad cable or bad cable connections
